£2 savers club (Part 3)

Hi all!

Can I join in this challenge? Do I just need a money box and save my £2 coins as I get them?

I shall have to begin carrying cash! I've just cleared off my credit card again, after clearing it about 2 months ago, and have wiped a lot of my savings, and am now determined to get them back up to where they should be - I think this might be my lightbulb moment! :eek:

Hiya,

That's entirely up to you, some people do as it helps them keep track and others wait until they have enough to bank before posting.

I don't post everytime I get one or more I just update as and when I remember as I put mine in a money pot so I can't count it.

Hi, please can I join in? I'm hoping it will make me leave those £2 coins alone, I started collecting a few weeks back but raided the tin to go to the first boot sale of the year:D. It's amazing how quickly they add up, and I find myself wishing for them in change when I'm in the shops. Or pinching them from DH's pile of change he leaves laying around...don't think he's twigged yet;)
I even have one £2 coin in my purse to get me started again,mind you I'm really skint until next week (payday) so will have to try hard not to empty my tin.

Oooh... I managed to bank my first £20 the other day and thought I might as well put it in my ISA instead of just leaving it in the pot. Also releases more coins back into the world!

I've decided that my £2 coins will be banked when I have 5 bags of any coins. They're going towards the wedding fund, so every little helps. I'm up to £24 now
