I'm up to £10 now...
By the way, SarahNeedle1872 - I've noticed you're on almost every thread I'm on. I hope you don't think I'm stalking you!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Morning fellow savers...
I think I must have added about 5 in the past week to my colony of beauties(but trying not to note them all as then will be able to work out how much I may have and ruin the 'deferred pleasure' aspect of saving them).
Have decided to stop naming them for the very same reason (although I did christen one Tiffany before I decided that and feel bad that the rest are to remain nameless!!)
So hopefully I have oodles in there now and am on course to reach my goal of £400 by christmas day - fingers crossed!!

I was waiting until we counted up before joining. OH and I have not spent a single £2 coin since they were first issued. £900 is being banked today! Whilst the Euro exchange rate is awful, at least it won't be so painful buying holiday money out of 'found' money (well at leas that is our way of thinking).0

Bonus Day today - Managed to trade a piece of orange paper for 5 little ones to join the family.
Add that to the one from saturday and we are looking good.
Have also decided that i will not open my pot until Feb 2010 - I am saving to take me & my two girls to Belgium in May 2010 with our Brownie Pack for an international camp (I must be mad!!!!) Need a grand total of £1500 for the three of us. Only 729 £2 coins to find:rotfl:

Hi, i know it's a bit late to join, but i already have a copper's jar, silver jar, £1 coin jar, and a sealed £1 tin on the go, so figure a £2 coin one would be a great little addition to the family! ( already have a sealed tin waiting in the wings!!LOL!).
Have no idea how much is in each, which is half the fun! Will bank as each one get full - if i'm that lucky!
I am saving up for holiday's in may and august and xmas too!
Thanks xx:money::money::money::money:
