  • Hi all :D

What a wet and windy day!

My niece just popped in to see us, and was moaning about the amount of change in her purse, amongst which she had 5 x £2 coins ~ so she swapped them with me :j I think it'll be a while before I get any more, though ~ too much month left at the end of the money........

    Happy hunting, everyone ;)

:j Two 2€ coins for me this week after ages without any. Probably not going to get any next week as I've only 10€ left of grocery money until Feb.

I've been debating what to spend the savings on and I think it will be a lightweight sewing machine and then, if I can save enough a Kenwood mixer, so I'm going to need to get a few more coins in my change if I'm going to do that this year :rotfl:

    Happy savings everyone

Couple more for me although you would have thought that in £28 of change collected from my avon deliveries there would be more to be had.

I now have lots of pound coins so dont expect to see another £2 for a little while...

Good luck to the rest of you x

Mr S gave me one as part of my change when I went shopping this morning. I made sure that I put it on the old coffee jar when I got home - I have £46 now:j When I get to £52, I will bank £50 and keep the spare £2 to start again (I have found that if I do that then I tend to acquire more to keep it company:D ).
  • Found 2 in OH's pocket this morning.... I'll swap it for a £5 note so he won't mind :D

That takes me to £40 which means its release time....

Finally two for me on Saturday, wooo! :T

It's my own fault, I've been determined to spend through all the change in the penny jar rather than drawing any cash out of the bank - pretty tough to get a £2 coin as change when you're paying in 10p pieces! :rotfl:
