Hello fellow money savers

I have just discovered this thread and thought I’d join up. I have been saving £2 coins for quite a while now, I started last year when I was getting married and since then have just carried it on.

At the moment my husband and I have a savings tin which we both contribute to and I have my own money box which I save £2 coins in as well. I have found that since I started I have become quite determined that if I get a £2 coin I will not spend it unless I absolutely have to (and even then it’s under duress).

I always look forward to the moment when I can open up my tin/money box to see how much I’ve managed to save up. As from now the money that I save in my own money box will be being put towards a newer car.

So just saying hello and can I please be added to the list.

Well i've got 2 x £1 coins, but i'll feel like a fraud if i add them to the tin, so i'm gonna exchange it for a £2 coin at shops. I won't add it to my tin until i've done this .

Will up-date siggy as and when.

got another one today :jrecounted and found had an extra £2 coin wooo!!!! £30 in the pot now.
