Is Electrol and Baliffs linked?

Hi Guys,
I have had some problems with a Baliff company with regards to unpaid council tax and still owe them £339.00. I have now started a plan with them and paying sufficent installments.
The question I need answered is that I moved to Italy when this debt was oustanding and know I am back in the country and want to get on the electrol, the problem I was wondering is whether the baliffs have information to these records and will come round my new house if I register?
Look forward to your comments.
Many Thanks

Since Council Tax Debt is referred to Bailiffs by the Magistrate's Courts, rather than 'Consumer Debt' which is dealt with by the County Courts, I would strongly advise you to have a chat with one of the Debt Counselling Charities, for instance CCCS - 0800 138 1111, National Debtline - 0808 808 4000, or a debt adviser at your local CAB. They are more used to the workings of local authorities and will be able to give you good, and free, proffessional advice.
I would, unfortunately, think that there is a very strong possibility indeed that your name would be 'flagged up' once you re-registered on the electoral roll - specifically if it is on the same area's electoral roll as the 'debt' was accrued.
Good luck.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
