HI Starnac, we were just saying the other day about how great it is when you find money that you've put somewhere, obviously not so great when you can't get at it!

So, take a deep breath......and think......now where would I put a key..........when I want to keep it safe..........and the burglars won't find it.?

or, where would I put a key the next time I needed it to do another craft fair?

or, alternatively, find a sledgehammer and say goodbye to the box!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Toodles.

Im with kerfuffle, sledgehammer is the way forward :rotfl:

Or what sort of box is it? Alot of them have the same type of key so if you know someone else who has one similar borrow their key.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

    Hi Twilightgirl,

Of course you can join up, as Sparky says, the more the merrier. Sparky is the money counter upperer, so when you do empty your box on the 1st Dec let him know so he can work out how much we've all saved this year.

Sue-UU who is the boss will be along shortly to give you a lovely new number, in the meantime you just need to find a pot of some sort to save up in, preferably a sealed one,.

Gosh, I think I sound too bossy, I'm not, honestly.:rotfl:

    Hello everybody,

well there's certainly been a lot of activity on the thread today, and a lot of pennies put into various pots, well done everybody.

I'm not choosing a Twinnie today as I have been and cashed in some recycling so today's contribution is all my own doing and no other form of motivation is required :T:j

So in Peter Pot today is $4.42.

Have a good Friday everybody, the weekend is almost here, and I think it's a long one for you guys this time, am I right?

cash tin update. it's a metal box so a sledgehammer may be the way forward. brings a new meaning to sealed pot anyway :rotfl: i have half managed to pick the lock. the barrel is now loose just need to actually pop it out.

have looked i all the obvious places. even in my craft boxes, all my "safe" places, anywhere DH may have put it. now have to look at DD's hiding places. she loves shiny things :D

will let you know when i finally get into it. key or not. i'm not bothered if i have to break the box as it was only cheap anyway (got it in a £shop) but would prefer not to. i just hope it's worth it when i do get into it :rotfl:
