Glad to see you're all doing so very well. 2p in the pot for me today and my sweet DH to thank for that!:kisses3:
I do hope your little boy soon gets better LC2. That's one thing with kiddies, once they feel better they're soon up and about a lot faster than us adults. Please give him a kiss and a hug from Aunty Sue.
What are you........on detention sparky??! Talk about late nights, you'll soon be working Stunty's hours!Evening All.
Take care everyone and keep saving the money.

Morning everyone!
95p in the pot for me this morning, plus a lonely 1p that I found on the floor at work!
I'm so jealous that you're getting away somewhere warm and sunny LC2! Although I've just been on the phone to OH and he said not to plan anything for next Thursday or Friday because we 'might' be going somewhere for my birthday!!! yippeeeee!! Guess a lovely british getaway is on the cards!

Goodness - it's been months since I dropped in on sealed pot land
We are still using a sealed pot at home and I've been putting in 50p coins and smaller every day and occasionally lifting the same out of my GFs wallet to bring up the total (don't worry, I do ask beforehand!)
As I'm saving most coins coins (after all, we use 8 different coins with any regularity in the UK and I save 6 of them), the jar is filling too fast!
We're now using the sealed jar for quarterly treats and this seems to be working well and we've had some lovely days out/spending money for the occasional holiday.
Will need to try a proper sealed jar for 2010 but at the moment our jar isn't big enough and I don't have the willpower.
As a small aside (and it's probably been mentioned loads of times), but be sure to check your 20p coints for any with the new 2008 design (three lions on the tails side) that don't have a date. They could be worth considerably more than 20p....0 -
