Welcome to the thread debtdesperado! It's good to have more company. Your number is on the list on page 1. We all wish you well with your saving! .......... BP56134 I've also added your target of £400 on page 1, ok??? Hi there Jo1972, I added your desired target too, good to see you back to have a target to aim for and many congratulations, much deserved!!! :T
Hi Sparky! It's so good to see you back again, though I guessed it might be something to do with your PC. I'm sure I've no idea at all about the change snaffling!I think he's an idea of where it came from though as now whenever I go looking "the cupboards bare!!!":o............I'm delighted for you shorelines, keep it up and you'll be so very proud next December!!! .....Oh bless her moneypooh, how sweet of her!
Sounds as though you've really converted her, keep it up!!! .....Well done indeed Miss P & Nickynoo, that really is a saving by you both! You too missessex with that £60!!! An amazing bump up and saved you possibly wasting it! ....Good for you too Mumzy and lovely to see you here!
Hi izzoh, I've put your target down on the list on page 1, I presumed that's what you wished??? .....Oh fedupandskint - there's nothing measly about a £1 and if you only managed to put that in each week it's a good deal more than if you'd saved nothing!!!:j Plenty more chances yet and you may well surprise yourself. ......Hi oopalah, it's amazing just how swiftly we're moving on, looking forward to seeing you again! .....paybacktime, not sure what age limit there is on here, but best check first before getting your little sweetheart joined up as I'd hate him to be disappointed. Whatever it is though, you're doing a brilliant job of encouraging him to save, very well done!!! .....A wonderful idea Surfbabe as it would be so good to see her more. Phantom9999 & missessex, you must please yourselves, but I personally would sooner be surprised on the 1st December. Think about it.
Oh dear Jordan, doesn't it spoil things when someone tells you what you're going to get...! Never mind, keep yours for him as a surprise and tell him which way you'd prefer for next year.....after you've throttled him!!!..........Shocking TheBees,:(:naughty: oh dear, oh dear, you'll learn! .....Good for you chunky!
Very well done everyone, even if you didn't put any in yesterday, it's still waiting there to get added to. None for me either, but all being well - today should see some being added, but if not I'll just need to be patient! I know for one or two of you that it seems as though you're getting nowhere, but there is PLENTY of time to go and plenty of pennies and pounds to collect yet, so don't get despondent!!!
Sue
Thankyou Sue!!!! :T :T
Now I am going to tape and super glue my pot down... I also think putting my spare change away will help me cut down on snacking. I won't be able to walk past a shop and pop in for a bar of choccy because now I will think, it does not belong to me! It belongs to the money box!!!9 years and counting0 -

Went to see a friend for the weekend so spent most of yesterday recovering, obviously I was not consuming cheeky vimtos like they were going to go off by the next morning! - makes me glad I dont work Mondays though. But have a purse and pockets full of small change to sort out when I get home from work tonight - not got a clue where its all come from as we were having a girly pj party night in (plus a male friend or two who popped round because I've not seen anyone since I moved away and complained that we were 'girly and giggly'). Couldnt face the rattling of money against glass until this afternoon so hopefully get a decent start on my bottle! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
