  • Hello and happy Saturday night to you all - I went out Charity shopping today as a new shop had opened spent a huge £9.75 and came out with some lovely things!

Change went straight in the pot and I also added a blue note to make up for not putting much in lately.

    See you all soon x

Alas my mother died 15years ago.
I find mothers day quite difficult now, as I suspect others do on here.

So tonight I wish all of us who's mums went and left us....

It's my first grandaughters 2nd birthday too, we bought her a bike, so we are going to take her for a walk whilst looking for roadkill. :j Fun,fun, fun! :j

have put some more in my pot though and today found a whole £10 road kill when we went for a walk round the lake. i was so impressed i never find anything like that, i treated noah to a cake and drink with it as without it it would have been straight home so was nice to have an afternoon tea with him.
everyones doing so well, and only another 9 months till we open our pots!!!!

A great post reb. My mum died 3 years ago and it is hard whilst receiving gifts from our off-spring not to think a lot of our dear mums who have passed on. Life has to go on I know, but times such as these, along with their Birthdays, Christmas etc are a little hard, but we have our youngsters to keep in check too!

All the best one and all and have a wonderful Sunday whether you're a mum or not.

    Hi all,

    Hope everyone's well.

I have a confession to make - although it's not all bad!!!

I had to give my mum some silver out of my sealed pot yesterday coz they had none where she works!! She did have to practically force me to do it!! (I sat sulking as i counted!!!) So I opened my pot and counted her out £30 in silver BUT i didnt count the rest of it.................. I was soooooooooo tempted but i resisted!!!! So at least i know i have more than £30!!!!!

My poor pot hasn't been fed much this week coz i've been off work and didnt have any money til payday so i can start feeding it now!!!!

Hope you all forgive me, lol!! And hope everyone has a great day
