  • Hi. Haven't posted here for quite a while and haven't been able to read over 100 pages of posts but I have a couple of questions if anyone doesn't mind answering them.

    1. What is this about 20p coins from 2008 with no date on?

    2. I saw some posts about voting - what is the vote for?

I always add my change to my sealed tin in the evenings, I have 4 pots at the moment, the Sealed one for this challenge which won't be opened until Dec 1st, I don't make a note of what I'm putting in, I'd like the surprise at the end of the year.

I have one for 20p's which when full will open as I'm saving these for my Car Insurance in April, I have one for £2 coins (don't have many in there at the moment). I also have another big pig which I'm dividing the coins between this one and the sealed one, the other one is for emergencies if I need any money.

    Hi guys

The 20 p's answer is the some of them have been made without the 2008 date on them and one was being sold on e-bay last week for loads of dosh. I checked it out and it stll had an hour to go before closing and it was at £52.00. These are the new 20p coins and on ebay there is a picture showing which they are, and also a statement from the Royal mint explaining the mistake.
