I am at work at the moment and have been thinking about other tings i could use as a money pot. Something that was bigger that i could use for a few months or years.

            Idea 1

An old ammo box, thought it would be cool. Then when you took it to the bank to change it, and them hearing lots of metal rolling around would not be the best idea. But, you could always bag it up and take it.

            Ideas 2

A really trunk, i reckon it would take a few years to fill.. I have found one, its 5.5ft long x 3 ft high and 3ft wide. even though it would take a few years to fill possible just imagine that amount that would be in there. £000's
Only thing is once it gets really full you would not be able to move it, so may some heavy duty wheel would need to be fitted before hand.
If i do i will keep a diary of the trunk!!!!

          5. Coming out of assembly this morning there were a load of pennies on the floor and I was like "ooooh!" but I didn't pick them up as there were kids everywhere! Forgot about them until I was going home and walking out with a collegue who pointed them out, and I got them all! He thought I was a bit mental, but I'm now 7p richer on a NSD :D

Have not been out since Mon so not spent anything. Have a cold so been at home doing housework. Feeling pretty low today, found out this afternoon that a friend of the family has had a stroke, another one had a fall and broke her nose, and another friend has had an operation and is recovering well in hospital ready for another one. I couldn't reach DH all day and started panicing that he had a crash and was dead (I have an overactive imagination) but he has just phoned and is fine. He is bringing chocolate home.
Sorry to be so depressing, but had to get it all off my chest.

A good thing that has happened is that I have earned enough points on a survey site to get a £10 Mr S gift voucher! Yippeee! When it comes I am going to put the equivalent cash in the pot.
