Thank you for all your replies.
I'm off out to the shops tomorrow and I'm going to look for a really good quality tin for my yorkshires. I found the "bendy" tins on the Lakeland website and they are £13 + postage. If I can't find a bargain in the sales tomorrow I might order the one from Lakeland.flea72 wrote:going OT but what do you call them - to me they are Yorkshire Puddings, but OH's family always call them batter puddings, and it drives me potty

My nan calls them "batter" puddings. Is it something to do with where you live, what you call something? She was born in Essex but her father was a Yorkshireman. Maybe you don't call Yorkshire puddings "Yorkshire puddings" if you live in Yorkshire? :rotfl:0 -

That's a good idea, I will try it next time I do a roast.:T0 -
I used to use the terracotta type shallow dishes, that you sometimes find in pubs. They made great puds evryime, I have since broken and lost them so I have reverted back to the bun tin I'm afraid0

I just use my enamelled roasting tin, with plenty of beef dripping to stop the pudding sticking.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0
