they mostly in the town centres and you can pop in when you in town for other things so no special journey just for this.
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

I always put my rings / jewellery in a glass of coke over night this seems to do the trick

The reason they can afford to be so generous is that most people leave stone rings for cleaning. To clean these rings they put them into an Ultrasonic cleaner. This shakes the ring until its clean. Any stones that are loose or held in with dirt will come out. If this happens they will charge you to reset the stone. Having a stone set in a major retailer will cost you about 3 times the amount you would pay an independent jobbing jeweller and goldsmith. Usually the same person will do the work they will just mark up the repairers price.

Yes this is supposed to be a freebie forum. Just soak them in viniger and save on petrol or bus fares. And an expensive repair when the stones fall out.
They didn't repair o/p's ring for free the price was included in the repair, Even if they told them it was free.
