Hmmm I just got a pop up from the stock tracker site saying that Play had them in stock again at £24.99 so ordered one but it's now saying they're out of stock but they've taken my order.

So I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens...

ETA - I've just noticed £1 from Play on Quidco so something must have worked!

Hi everyone, I am new to this board. I am also having trouble finding this game. Seems like I have pounded the pavement for days, going in and out of HMV, gamestation and GAME. I have looked at Play.com, Amazon, and ebay and yep, the prices are too expensive for me as well. I keep checking back to see if they lower but they dont seem to. I have even looked at ebgames in USA as they do do very very quick shipping (UPS tracked usually couple of days!) but even they dont bring up any results.
Can someone just tell me and sorry if it has already been answered but whats the deal about this game, why is everywhere sold out and no stock? What is this world shortage on Professor Layton???
I also tried at Currys yesterday at 10.17pm, told in stock by that nintendo stockists website, and today got the same email as everyone else that they dont have it at all. Shame on all these sites wasting peoples time and lying to us saying they do when they clearly do not. I think perhaps peoples best bet is to just keep going into the high street stores, remember to check the preowned sections too, they must know that demand is high, Gamestation in my local town of Bristol, said they did know and they hoped to get more in before xmas. and lets face it, at least if they do, there is no botherations about delivery and will I get a dreaded email saying I havent got it at all. But...that doesnt mean to say that I wont keep trying play and the others in the mean time. ...what the hell!!

Previously I have orderded from cduniverse.com in the states. It is on backorder over there but there is the facility to email when it is back in stock. It may be that there is less demand for it over there as it seems to have been out longer The game is $32 and $7 shipping which will work out roughly at £25-26 all in.

DO NOT ORDER FROM PLAY.COM. I ordered my copy of the game on the 1/12/2008 and they were in stock on the system but now say they are out of stock. I rang with my order details and they reported that they are not expecting any more stock in and have cancelled my order. They did not let me know and I am glad I checked.
