Got a dundee cake from school Xmas fair on Saturday. Is it possible to keep this fo xmas? No idea how long they can be kept. Also if it is possible to keep it do I need to add any brandy or similar to it like you would an Xmas cake.

I would definitely keep it for Christmas, you can add some alcohol/fruit juice/cold tea if you think it's getting a bit dry, but if you keep it in an airtight container it should be fine. Hope that helps!0

When I make Dundee cake myself I always freeze it in slices and though I think it's better eaten fresh it's still fine defrosted ( almonds on the top maybe go very slightly softer but still OK ).0
