Be aware though, that it is not all it seems. You dont actually eat out for £5, or at least that was my experience. We took our vouchers to our local Indian restaurant where the £5 vouchers only covered one main dish. Obviously you dont just eat a main dish in an indian restaurant you also eat side dishes and accompaniments. OK, so the main dish was free but no way are you eating out for £5, you save the price of one main dish each. In my case that was around a fiver.

My experience has always been very positive and I've never had the problem that Ellie2758 experienced. The restaurants have either had a special promotional menu or their usual table d'hote menu from which you can choose 2 courses.

I'll be collecting again this year.

I've got the online voucher but nothing from the newspaper yet. I bought thursday's edition with the list of restaurants etc but could not find the voucher or token.

Forgot to buy one yesterday.

No it runs for ages. I have eaten for a fiver and had some very good meals :)BUT a lot of the restaurants do charge more :(. Check how much you are paying when you book. To get the deal you must book in advance.
