Having been totally inspired by this forum, I want to start up my own debt free wannabe journey. I've been a bit silly with credit cards, and want to sort myself out. I'm just not sure where to start. I\m in a situation where i'm scared to actually talk to the companies! I think in total, i'm in about 7k of debt. But i'm now in a stable job, earning money and can really afford to start tackling this problem.
Can anyone offer advice on where to start?! I'm a bit clueless on how to get the ball rolling so that 2009 can be my year of taking control.
Thanks so much xx

Hi,
I am fairly new to this site, but I am sure the more experienced ones will ask you to post a SOA......statement of affairs.....so that they can see your financial situation and therefore try to offer advice. I am sure someone will be along with a lot more info.....but well done for taking the first steps.
