Searched the Clearance section of the Argos online site today looking for a 2nd Birthday gift for my 2 year old niece, who just loves Dora the Explorer!
Came up with this item http://www.argos.co.uk/ProductDisplayTRK019?partNumber=3480531, a snip at only £6.99, when I looked at it for her for Christmas it was £27.99!!
It sings and talks and her hair magically grows and shortens at the touch of a wand. It looks like a nice expensive gift at a snip of the cost.
The batteries are also included.
Hope they have it in your area.
Good luck!
