ooo! I'm SO angry!!!
All I wanted to do was go online and chack my balance.
I have around £250.00 owing on my old overdraft.
Then it twlls me I have to use a card reader - don't have one so call the customer 'help' line.
Get transferred to Indian call centre and put on hold for around 6 minutes.
Get put through to someone, tell him the situation.
The card reader was sent to you on 6th August says he.
I didn't get it
.
Okay, he says I'll arrange for one to be re-sent.
Turns out that they didn't update my new address despite a phone call AND letter.
Right, so now have to go to some other department to 'check my details'
'Do you have a 5 digit code?' says the ONLINE BANKING PERSON 'yes' says I... off he goes again...
Comes back after 5 minutes... 'the personal account team say that your telephone banking details aren't valid'...
I don't have telephone banking!!!!! !!!!!! are you asking me THAT for?
ooohhh, right now the guy is saying that IT'S MY FAULT and I DON'T UNDERSTAND HIM!!! bl00dy cheek.
All I gave him was what he asked for and that was my INTERNET BANKING MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. I gave him no other details...
So then he says - you'll have to go to a branch...
I feel a strong worded letter coming on...
That cost me 23 minutes of calls to be told I'M WRONG and CODES FOR SOMETHING I DON'T HAVE AND NEVER GAVE ARE INVALID!!!!

sorry to hear this little pickle, i was in this state last week with Natwest and GE Capital and i'm still trying to pluck up the courage to speak to them again. I think i'll tackle them tonight and put on my flack jacket.0

my problem with asda is they messed up and won't correct my credit card statement and are saying it's my banks fault, on Friday. On saturday got a letter from them that they forgot to tick some boxes on so haven't told me what they expect me to do with it duh! i'm waiting for them to charge me and charge interest then they will see the not so patient side of me. I'm never loud or abusive i just am persistent till i get what i want, and they have no reason to hang up on me which they really hate.
I hope you get what you need in the end, and don't have to wait too long.0
