Lost my wallet!

While I was out on in Cardiff on Friday night I lost my wallet which had the following inside:
£100 cash
Debit Card
Credit Card
Drivers License
National Insurance Card
EU Health Card
Divers Licenses
Hospital Appointments including an appointment for surgery next week
Friends business cards and personal numbers
I've contacted the club where I was and searched it throughly but to no avail. I have phoned the police and they said they will check the lost and found today. I've cancelled my debit and credit card (did this within 30 mins of losing the wallet) and have phoned the dvla and informed them. My biggest concern is identity theft, has anyone had this happen to them? What did you do?! How can I protect myself?
Any advice would be much appreciated!!!
Regards
Ian

don't carry all that around with you in the future.
hope that helps0 -
Thanks for that, but that doesn't really help me very much!!!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and obviously that was the first thing I thought too, but I can't turn back the clock!!!0 -
Check your credit score for unusual activity, or maybe sign up to one of the online services for a few months?
I reckon the odds are more likely the cash was their target...0
