Help fraud ABBEY

i'm Desperate can anyone help me hubby received a letter today saying a debt of over £7k was being passed over to robinson way.

We don't bank with them never have done none of our creditors are Abbey help it's not our debt.What can we do , i'm really panicing now.

    Sounds like someone with a similar name to you OH has debt with them and their tracing debartment has tagged it to your hubby.

    Get a copy of your credit files from equifax, experian and call credit (£2 reports only no point in fancy subscriptions unless you get the free trial and cancel going thru quidco) and challenge any inaccurate info thru them.

    when/if robinson way get in touch then send them the prove it letter.
