Microwave combi. best buy?

Hi. I need a new microwave. Can anyone help with advice on a model that is easy to use, reliable, produces good hot food, Jacket pots with crispy skin etc. A combi may be ideal. Maximum price I can pay is £160.00. Any advice or recommendation would be appreciated.
Thanks. :)

  • There's only the two of us so I got a little de longhi combi from argos just before Xmas for about £50 I think -was on offer. Works a treat for us but then again I'm not trying to cook chicken/legs of beef etc in it. But it can hold a 12" pizza with no problems - yes I know it's lazy microwaving a pizza but me and DD age 8 wanted to see how long it would take and if we'd get a nice crispy topping when we grilled

Best IMHO is a Panasonic Combination Microwave. Made in Wales. Good customer service ,though you probably won't need it. They use inverters rather than transformers inside so they don't weigh a ton like the older models do. Crispy skinned baked potatoes in minutes using built in programmed functions.

Mine is a NNA-750W though as its about 3 years old has probably been superceeded. Argos sell Panasonic.

PS: Found the closest to mine here on the Tesco site.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

If you need bigger ie 2 cubic ft then you will have to go for a Sharp. Have had to of these in the past and they have been excellent.
