stop me shopping this afternoon!!!

I'm starting a new job tomorrow and am sooo tempted to hit the shops this afternoon to buy new clothes for work! In fact I'm so tempted I almost didn't post this as I kinda don't want anyone to stop me.

I've already got some smart clothes for work....but I'm trying to talk myself into 'needing' more.

However..I've also agreed not to buy any xmas prezzies this year as I'm living off a credit card for the whole of december due to having gone without a salary for 2 months.

help :(

  • It's far too cold to go out!

Stay in with a nice hot cup of tea :-) Root through your wardrobe and try on different clothes combinations to make new outfits up.

    And good luck for tomorrow!
  • yep stay in its too cold u already got stuff to wear treat ur self to a new top when u get paid from new job and build up gradually good luck for tomoz
  • stay in and curl up with a good book, just imaging the crowds of people in the shops, the rude shop assistant who looks at you and seems to have a sneer on their face when you say just that please and the sneer seems to say is THAT all you can afford why you wasting my time.

stay in and make muffins or cookies or something that will be more beneficial than some new clothes, if you buy clothes you are going to have the hassel of washing them before wearing, and if you buy it without trying it on then youve got to take it back because it doesnt fit and snooty shop assistant has decided to become even ruder!!!

  • Plus, if it's a new job, they'll never have seen any of your clothes before, so they're all "new" to your new colleagues ;)

And it's flipping cold out. You don't want bits dropping off with frostbite, do you?

    crisis averted!

I've decided to use up my nervous energy by putting the radio on and cleaning my flat while dancing madly. It appears to be working! Kitchen down, 4 more rooms to go!

Seriously, you've just stopped me wasting at least £100!!

And you're right Jenny, I just need to try on a few outfits and decide which look best..do not need new ones!

    thankyou thankyou thankyou x
