The Original Thunderbirds Complete Box Set (9dvd) now £39.99 (RRP £124.99!!)
Two years ago HMV were selling the complete Thunderbirds for just £24.98!! Now it's two years older and the price has gone up by £15. Not a bargain at £39.99, sorry.

Thanks, i'll just pop back a couple of years in my Time Machine and do the purchase then, shall I?...............

A quick trawl through https://www.find-dvd.co.uk actually reveals that HMV is nearly the cheapest (its a couple of quid cheaper at Amazon and Play)

The point I was making is that HMV have had fantastic deals on box sets in the past, which they repeat every now and again, but the current batch aren't their best ever deals.
Like many retailers they seem to have put prices UP and claim they are offering you fantastic deals.

Point taken, but this forum is "Quick, grabbit while you can"...right now...at this moment in history... Irrespective whether it was cheaper two years ago, it's still the keenest price out there.

I had a round the world plane ticket two years ago for a little over £800, you'd be lucky to get one now for less than a £1200 given the rise in fuel costs, so I wouldn't come on here stating that its not much of a bargain anymore, people would still be keen on a value for money find like the one I find.

The sale 2 years ago might have been better but does it really matter, no help to somebody that wants it now and compared to other places it is good value now
  • Most things are more expensive now than they were two years ago! The bargains I got from HMV last year have not been repeated this year, but they are still offering keen prices. Notably, Amazon offers nothing near the keen prices of 2/3 years ago.

But for goodness sake, someone has took the time to post a low priced product on here and then gets struck down by another poster who like comparing prices on a retrospective basis...great, but the economy doesn't work like that! The rudeness on this forum never fails to amaze me.
