Hi,
I earn a low wage so either don't get taxed or have only about 80p deducted. but I still had national insurance taken off which was fine.
but for the last two months, no national insurance has been deducted from my wages.
Should I query this and should I worry about? What possible effect can it have if they don't take national insurance?
Any advice please?
Thanks.

NI is taken at 11% on weekly wages over £105
or monthly wages over £4530 -

If you earned under £453 then no national insurance was due. Provided that you earned at least £390 then you will be treated as having paid national insurance even though none was paid.0 -
