Some help with a pressie idea

Hello
You lot are usually good with pressie ideas so I thought I'd ask.
I need to buy a pressie for my mum's birthday which is 5 days before christmas. She runs around after my dad and grandad and rarely sits down before 8 O' clock. She is always tired and never sleeps well as she worries about everything.
I usually buy her a beauty thing (massage, manicure etc) so she has to have some time for herself but I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas. Massages seem so expensive now £35 and I usually spend abot £25 on her.
I did think of a pamper pack/hamper with all Lavendar things to help her sleep and some wine and chocs with a copy of Mamma mia but I'm not sure she would make the time to use it.
Any ideas would be appreciated as I would like to be a bit different.

£15 M&S vouchers – unwanted gift2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
how about a £ 25 voucher for her too go a spa and have a hand/neck massage.at least you will be sure she gets her me time and a nice pamper.0

How about a relaxing hamper - you could include something nice for the bath (bubbles or bath bomb), candle, body lotion, book, pyjamas/nightshirt (look in Primark & Matalan), slipper or socks, chocolates, maybe a mini bottle wine. Could easily do that for £25 I reckon
Also, how about a do not disturb sign for the bathroom:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
For reduced cost pampering check out your local college.
Most will run beauty therapy courses and their students need genuine clients for hairdressing, manicures, massage, waxing etc etc.
Students are supervised at all times in case you need reassuring!! I get regular hair cuts and manicures at mine and the only downside is that it sometimes takes a little longer - but that means your mother will get longer to relax :T0 -
Hello Thank you all for the replies. Think I may go with a massage or something and perhaps a hamper to go with it. I have use the college before so I may ring and see what offers they have on.
Thanks again
PS CT: where do you get all the nice packaging from, especially the lavender hamper.0 -

Hi,
the box that the lavender hamper is sitting is is one of the gift boxes that I have split to make the hamper - it has about 8 things in it and we £2.99ish from Home Bargains a while ago. The other set came in a square box, which I have kept to wrap another present it as they are quite pretty. The cellophane for this came from hobbycraft, about £2.50 for 5 meters, and the tissue paper from a local shop.
Good luck with you search for a present for your mum.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

I did my sister a "pamper hamper" for her birthday ..... and i included a homemade 'instruction set' which started with "pop wine in the fridge", "run a bath" "Send OH to the pub", .....
Do you think your Mum/Dad/Grandad would follow this type of instruction? Just an idea ....=====================================

Hi,
Try www.lancswt.org.uk, you can give a living bunch of flowers or adopt an endangered species for her, definately something different and the money goes to a charity too!0
