Reducing electricity bills

Hi all,
Does anyone have any tips or links for reducing our elec bill? Just had a quick look at the 50% electricity challenge, and everyones bills are so much lower than ours! I know my dad is stressing about this a bit.
Its around £220 at the moment. We have a big 5 bed house, but have recently put in energy saving bulbs in the bedrooms and hallways.
Is there anything we could do that would substantially reduce our bill?
We have a tumble dryer, and quite a lot of elec using gadgets - 3 computers almost always on the go, big TV etc.
We've never tried reducing our elec usage before, not sure where to start!
