i did it!

After spending way too much of my time looking at ways of earning extra cash, and sobbing my eyes out to very unhelpful people at Barclaycard, I took the next step into sorting my debts out...I called the CCCS, and man i'm pleased I did.
I have an appointment with them in two weeks, and hopefully they'll be able to help me out. The lady I spoek to last night to make the appointment was lovely, and reassuring, and told me things I diodn't know, such as, as long as I pay something off my debts, they can't send the balliffs in, and, it shouldn't affect my credit rating too much! woo hoo!
I'm sick of living a half life - I haven't been out for months, and its driving a wedge between me and my man. Perhaps now we can start living once again!

You are so right about the feeling of relief the CCCS give you. We have an interview on Jan 16. Having that CCCS Case number sitting by the telephone in case anyone phones feels like a lucky charm.
Hope you get on OK.0 -
Congratulations Beccal, :T you have made the first step to a brighter future, my only regret was not phoning cccs sooner, what a difference they make to your life, which you will find as the months go on.
Well done! :TPaD - £100 -
Well done Beccal!
For me, finding out the worst thing my creditors could do to me (ie take me to court) stopped alot of unnecessary worrying.
Be realistic - your problems aren't over, and as you start sorting your debts out you may find it drags and really gets you down. But in the end, as corny as this may sound, it's very much worth it and you will wonder why you didn't do it any sooner!
Best of luck and let us know how you get on.
