Woolworths gift cards

Don't know if this is in the right bit. My son has a couple of Woolies gift cards left to spend, does anyone know if they are still being honoured by Woolworths?

I don't see why not, the shops are still open for business. I would spend them soon as we don't know when they are going to close. You may wake up one morning to find all the woolies shops closed and the gift cards have become worthless.

Just heard on the news that the woolworth's web site has been suspended and is no longer taking orders. I would get your gift cards spent ASAP if I were you!

the staff in the wollies store near us have been told they will be open to at least crimbo but if it were me id get them spend asap as you really never know with these companies

I'd bought a woolies gift voucher, today i went and spent it on xmas shopping so i didn't lose my money if they shut down soon.

In theory, shouldn't we be able to get a refund? If I buy a tele and it doesn't work I get a refund, so why not a gift card? I've done all mu Christmas shopping and short of trailing someone around the store and making them an offer, I'm not sure what to do.

If there is no Woolworth's to refund you (for a tele, gift card), who are you going to ask for the refund?

For this reason, make sure anything you buy from them now will definitely be a "wanted" gift - as we can't rely on taking things back after Christmas!

I pre ordered a dvd online due for release last monday it said should arrive on or before 2nd dec that being tomorrow i havent had notification of dispatch website down and any phone line not ale to deal with online orders due to technical problems anyone know if orders are still being sent out what can i do?
