Hi we are on part 4 now... linky... It will be running next year too!
The 4k is for essential things like food, utilities, internet access, essential clothes etc. Work and business related costs are not included. Some have also included CTC and Child benefits etc in their totals or have chosen amounts other than 4k. Next year I think a few are including everything (and upping the amount accordingly :eek: ). Really its about living within your means, being frugal and thinking about what you are buying and why.We all have different reasons for doing this ranging from having only this to live on, wishing to repay/pay back more quickly any debts, wishing to save whatever they can by sticking to a budget and paying off mortgages etc. If you have a look at the last 20 pages or so many people have been trying to set out their budgets for 2009. We are a friendly bunch so you are very welcome to come and say hello
