A couple of questions please

Can some answer a few questions for me please.

If you have been late with a payment in the past but only as a one off, if you then write to the company wanting to make an arrangement so that interest is stopped can they issue you a ccj?

I know if arrangements like the one mentioned above is made it will affect your credit rating but would it also affect other members of the house hole i.e husband etc?

Can a company force you into taking out an IVO (?) or into banruptcy (SP) if you outgoings are alot more then your income?

If you dont contribute towards rent or a mortgage, when sending a company a financial statement would you include a payment for this incase things change in the future?

Many thanks

I'm not toally sure, but I believe that freezing interest is only for people who have missed lots of payments, rather than just one.

It all depends on your circumstances. Send current and accurate details of your incomings and outgoings to your creditor. If you don't pay rent then don't include anything for it. If your circumstances change you can renegotiate at that time.
Depending on a number of factors they will decide whether or not to freeze interest. Biggest factors being your current ability to pay the interest and your previous history. If you cannot even pay the interest a freeze is more likely. If you have had problems paying before but addressed the problem it helps. If you have had periods of not paying before, and not contacted them, it makes them less willing to freeze.

All of that is general advice. Some companies are easier to deal with than others.
If you want more specific advice please post full details of your debts, expences and income.
    Regards
