Sunday 30/11/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

Options
:D When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Today I will:
  • check online banking done
  • move some spare cash to savings done
  • make a loaf in breadmaker done
  • storecupboard lunch and tea using up veggies from fridge
  • clear out car for service tomorrow
  • swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership - just come back:D
  • clean flat with stardrops and microfibre cloths
  • try not to use car - nope had to take DD to stables
  • no spend day
Good morning guys, just arrived back from gym had a lovely swim and jacuzzi now have to get stuck in with jobs for today, but not till Oh has made us bacon butties:D
Hope you all have good day. Fayjmck missed you yesterday - hope everything is okay up in Orkney:D

Catch you all later:D
Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    Hi Fayjmk and Elizabeth JH

Fayjmk: I beg to differ - I've been waiting for the page since 7am - then elizabeth beat me to it!!!!!! Look at us - fighting to be second. It reminds me of School's where kids do everything they can to be next to their favourite teacher:rotfl: . What are we like.

Right - I've been very lazy this am. Need to get up and tackle that ironing... It's so cold in my flat - single glazed windows - maybe it'll get better one I get moving. Don't want to leave the warm bed ... don't make me do it!!!!

    Have a great day everyone.
