Hi,
I am having problems deleting one of the folders on my hard drive partiton.
The folder is called 6062c1f719f1a0a92d and is on a partition of my hard drive I store documents on, every time I try and delete it says its in use.
When I try opening it, there is one folder called update, I cant open that as it comes up access denied.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I think it may be that you have to take ownership of the folder...I had a similar prob..I used the instructions on the web link below
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/
Hope that helpsThese are the Good 'ol Days just wait and see!0 -

Two things - firstly, is the complete patch to the folder longer than 256 characters?
Secondly, if the OS is saying the folder is in use download the following, extract it to your C:\, then go to Start -> Run -> type cmd -> type cd \ -> Type handle <folder path> (without the <> symbols.)
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896655.aspx
The easiest way to type the folder path is to open a Windows Explorer window, navigate to the path then drag the folder onto the cmd window.
Then press the return key and it should say which process, if any, is locking the folder in use.0 -
