  • Post title is a bit misleading, this has nothing to do with iPod - it's just an MP3 player ::)

For the money this looks ok and while not an ipod, it should do the job nicely. Hopefully this low price will encourage others to follow and we can see the price of all hard disk mp3 players falling after Christmas.
    Nice spot.

This is NOT an iPod and quote marks do not change that.

What's wrong with just saying MP3 player in the thread title? A lot of people are looking specifically for iPods at the moment and the thread title is misleading.
  • BTW there is no case as described in the advert.
There is a sign up in kwik save confirming this,
  • Hi gingercat and jon c, sorry you dissaproved. "A poor folks Alternative to the IPOD for £99etc." would not fit in the box.

So what is an ipod if not an mp3 player with a larger hard drive and few more bells and whistles, (and a Nike/Dyson-like following).
Nice kit but at a premium, not everyone needs nor can afford the apple.
This one does hold around 40 hours of music ;)

This post was just to offer an alternative. in the search of Value for Money.

This after all is a money saving site.

  • I bought one of these at the weekend and find it very easy to use with quite reasonable sound quality. The buttons are a bit plasticy, but at least they 'click' when you press them. Okay, so 2.5 GB ain't gonna hold your whole music collection, but its enough to hold your current fav tunes.

You do get a case, but you have to phone up the helpline for it.

If you were Tesco's or Woolies, we'd be on the phone to watchdog now, demanding an ipod for £99!!! ;)

You don't happen to have a Ferrari you want to swap for a Skoda do you ???
