in feb and march 2006 we don't pay council tax. i have just read an entry on this forum where some people were saying they don't have to pay water rates for feb and march. is this correct for all people or does it depend on water company? if correct and we have been paying for feb and march for previous years how do we go about claiming refund? thanks

It depends on the companies.
Where I live water rates and Council tax are divided up into 10 monthly payments.
Others might be spread over a calendar year.
Your annual statement should show whether you are in credit or not.0 -
It depends on which water company you are with. I pay mine in 8 payments so always have 4 "free" months. This year I've decided to continue paying it -but into my savings account.0
