I posted this a year ago, worth taking note if you are buying one:DD has been after this doll for a while and had saved some pocket money to buy it. For those not in the know with Bratz, Be Bratz dolls give access to a secure website where you can virtually design Bratz dolls, rooms, fashions etc and have access to digital pets.
I studied the box before I bought it, and I spent some time reading the parents note on the site, nothing untoward there.
However, what you dont find out until you are signed up is that the site requires points to play. You are given so many points with the doll, but once they are gone you have to buy further points. Apparently you can sell back the clothes etc you have virtually purchased, but you only get half your points back.
Im especially annoyed that it wasnt mentioned on the box that further purchases would be required, neither was it mentioned in the parental notes on the site. Its all buried away in the FAQ which you dont tend to read until after you have purchased. £25 is a lot for a doll, but if we are going to have to keep adding points its going to get extortionate!
So, if you have bought this doll for a little girl for xmas be warned!0
