medion laptop

can i have some opinions on the below laptop it is a medion with 3 year warranty
i have had 2 pcs from them in the past no real problems.

it is slightly more than intended to pay bu has the 3 year warranty which im paying for i assume.
if this is not a good deal please tell me what is at the moment.
there is a link at the bottom to a picture and some more details.

    It really depends on what you plan to use it for.

    The Medion is an ultra compact notebook, yet still very well specified. Just note the 12.1inch screen.

    The Sony is huge and is designed to be a desktop replacement, nowhere near as portable, but far higher spec.

    The Sony is still quite small for a desktop replacement, but personally as it's a refurbished product and the fact that the Medion has a 3-year warranty plus being far easier to travel with, I would go for that one. It's very well specified as well and you get a load of extras, ATI x200 is good enough to play games and the DVB tuner would be great for the train.

    Warranty would be a big deal to me as my current laptop is 2 years old a starting to develop problems (overheating) unfortunately the company went bust so I'm stuck.
