Mens outfit £10 (tesco)

Just got back from Tesco where I have just picked up a pair of jeans and a stripped shirt for less than £10 (the VAT was deducted at the checkout). There was a choice of dark or light jeans and a selection of stripped shirts. It was not clearly advertised in tesco, just a small A4 size label above the shirts.

I picked these up the other day and my son loved them. Went back and bought the same but different colour yesterday. Bargain!!

I bought the ladies offer today, gold lame type jumper for my daughter and the trousers for me £10 and now you mention it I must check the receipt re the VAT.

What happens if you want to exchange one of the 'pair' of garments, but there's not a suitable exchange one available? Do you have to hand both garments back or do they refund half the £10 or, even better, refund the original cost of the one garment? Anybody know?

Yesterday in my local Tesco they had kids items 2 for £5. Toddlers boys was jean and 3 different stripped thin jumpers, girls was cords in bright pink, purple or cream with 2 different cardigans and a jumper to choose from. I saw older boys had a choice of different coloured cords and a couple of jumpers, but not much stock left. Not sure about older girls. The offer did not go through when I purchased it, and staff were unsure of when it was running. Did get the offer though, there were big posters and signs hanging on the ends of where the clothes were hanging. hth someone
