For mascara that doesn't budge, I can highly recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear, it's great (as is the double wear light foundation).

    HTH

Tried it, it smudges on me.
Got the DW liquid liner too, thats ok.

I've also got the DW foundation normal & I don't like it, I find it too heavy, I've not tried the DW light one though.

I really don't believe ANY MAKE is better at foundations than Perscriptives, they colour match perfectly.

Went shopping today (Bluewater) & got YSL mascara & Perscriptives new here-to-stay mascara.
So two new ones to test.

I'm a bit mad........ :D as you know... I always like a mascara towards the end of its life. When it is new, it kinda needs 'breaking in'.

Meanwhile, I await the findings in your research MrsE ... :D it'll save me some money for one........

Foundation - Estee lauder double wear powder for bad days, Double Wear liquid mixed with spotlight highlighter for night time and the fab Lidl liquid make up (about £2) for every day

Powder - Rimmell stay matt - just a light application

Blusher - bourjois - the best ever

    Bronzer - St tropez

Eyeliner - Clinique cream shaper for eyes

Mascara - Estee Lauder magnascopic - my desert island product, not waterproof but lasts really really well with a false lash effect, daughter wears Estee Lauder Double wear mascara, this does not budge and she rides horses everyday even in the rain

Lip gloss - always juicy tubes or if I fancy a change Barbara Daly at Tesco
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future

Ooh, Mrs E, which YSL mascara did you get? I'm just the same- I definitely don't rub my eyes (contact lenses), but do sometimes end up a little Alice Cooper after an evening out.

I was toying with getting the YSL Faux Cils (or False Lash if you're not being pretentious), but it's not waterproof. There are lots of rave reviews on the web if you go looking. I'm currently using Lancome Flex (which I think has been discontinued) which has been pretty good. best brush is Bobbi Brown. Unfortunately the mascara was PANTs!!

Please let us know, you could make my Christmas!

Looked for Ruby & Millie today in Boots, but couldn't find a waterproof one:confused:

I'll have to check mine and see what it says - as I say, it was a magazine freebie so it might have been discontinued. If it isn't waterproof, it's pretty darn good!

It's a pity about the Benefit Bad Gal, because it does give fantastic lashes.

I've got a mini Revlon Colourstay that I haven't tried yet - will give that a go.

Keep us updated on the Max Factor one - hopefully it'll live up to its claims.

Its just the YSL waterproof one, BUT it has the same brush as faux cils (I like the old fashioned brushes).
I got my DD the faux cils (non-waterproof) as a little stocking filler & the Urban Retreat perfume in the really funky bottle with the puffer.

Aw love his cotton socks. Its a b*gger when you lose a pet - I still get wound up over my doggies. Miss them big time. Hate being dogless. I would love another one or two - but working full time, its not fair to get one.
