I went to woolies yesterday and I had forgotten my voucher. I explained this to the cashier before I started shopping. The cashier told me that it wasn't a problem he would still give me the 20% off. I spent nearly £40 and got more than £8 discount.
I always ask...... they can only say no........I love saving money:beer:0 -
I had a voucher but not the updated one so effectively mine was expired. I just mentioned the voucher but did not hand it over and the SA was happy to give me the discount. It was while she was scanning the items, that I mentioned it.July Win: Nokia 58000

I was going to say the same thing. Will these people be happy when the Woolies staff are made redundant? They are just earning a living to feed their families like anyone else. Having been through redundancy 5 times, my DH and I can tell you that it's not nice and even worse if it happens at Christmas (as it did to me 2 years ago). It changes your entire attitude to your job and all those involved with it - customers included. That may not be the most professional approach but it is the human reaction to threatened redundancy.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. I just bought a few items in my local Woolies and like the person said above I just mentioned the voucher and she didnt even look at it but took off the discount. She also said, "hang on to it as it may be extended".0
