I shopped online on Monsoon on christmas day (much tutting heard coming from other half). My order arrived about an hour ago. I was a good money saver and bought items I'd had my eye on already, and my items match, so I have something to wear them with hurrah!
I also headed into the shop on the 27th and picked up a top I fell in love with instantly but had never seen online or in the shop before.

Sale shopping online is so much easier. I hate the mess other people make in shops. I just cant handle disorganisation (if there is such a word, if not, there is now!)
Its only any good if you get in there early and get what you really want though. I purchased trainers from French Connection online before Christmas (as their sale started a few days before) and they arrived before christmas day

I'm not prepared to get up early or fight people for things. Organisation avoids dissapointment.

Everything comes packaged nicely and nothing has biro on it like it does in shops. They only send out immaculate stock (or monsoon do atleast!)

I ordered Christmas eve & havent received my order. Got email on Christmas Eve confirming order, but no 2nd email re despatch - did you get this?
Phoned customer service & they state in process of despatching orders!!

hi, i ordered on Xms day as well and my lovely lovely tops arrived today. Thumbs up to them for their packaging, it was immaculate. Al my tois were on hangers, wrapped in tissue and then placed in plastic covering and the whole thing was in a nice cardboard box!
I went into the Monsoon town yesterday and one of the tops i ordered was hanging on a rail, looking really tatty and miserable and i wouldnt have wanted to buy it!!
I'm dead pleased, thanks to the OP for the posting.

Dawn, Yeah I had the second e-mail although it took a while. I'm sure they are having loads of orders through. I guess you'll just have to be patient. Atleast you got your order in early so your as good as guarenteed to get what you want :-) Much better than turning up to the shop only to find that every other size is there except your own. They've acknowledged that they had your order so they'll have to make sure that they send out your order.
Customer service and delivery really annoy me. Its the same instore. Staff are argumentative and rude. I'm currently arguing with choicesuk about it, although they've now chosen to ignore me and stop responding when I told them that supplier problems are their problem and should not be the customers problem. When I ordered it was in stock and estimated dispatch was 48 hours but it took them 12 days to get it to me, I had it days before Christmas and they notified me of a delay the day before they posted it! So annoying!
Atleast I can say I'm proud of the service I provide. If my customers have to hang around I make them a hot drink and pinch choccies from our department and give them some :P

I ordered 6 things on Xmas day too and am itching to get them. Ordered the lovely long knitted coat/cardigan in green was £75 now £37.50, just hope it arrives ! will be a bargain if it does...

Ditto ! although I havent seen any of my stuff in store. Just itching to get my goodies. No email yet :rolleyes:
