Seconded Bravissimo, it's where I'll be going for mine. It's best to get it properly fitted and they really look after you there.
Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

Bravissimo. Also Anne Summers have a surprisingly good range of bras in big cup sizes. Discovered that recently.

If you really, REALLY can't find anything just ring round brands that you like and ask what they have available. Get them ordered and return ones you don't like. But I'm sure you'll do well with the suggestions here :)
  • Hi Yorkshirechick,

From my experience of bra fitting, I can honestly say that in a 32E the best make would be Fantasie, which should be available in most high street stores (House of Fraser, Debenhams, La Senza, etc). They have quite a good strapless bra, but I tell you now its not going to give you a cleavage, it will however support your bust. It should come with clear and black/ nude/ cream straps (depending on what colour you buy), you might be able to use the clear straps for more support, but not sure if you would be keen on that.

Being an 'E' cup you will probably find it hard to get a balconette style, strapless bra, you have a fuller bust that requires the support of straps, and a strapless balconette simply would not support an 'E' cup.

Another option you could consider is a bustier, again fantasie also provide a beautiful range of bustiers for fuller busts. The bones in the body of the bustier might provide you with more support than a strapless bra.

But remember ALWAYS try on, and if you are unsure, get an assistant to reccomend a style for you, as they will know their stock better.

    Congrats and goodluck.

    Hi yorkshirechick,

M&S are quite good at fitting if you get someone with experience. Isabella's right, having a fuller bust is difficult to fit for a strapless bra and a bustier is probably the only thing to give you cleavage. In M&S you can bring in the dress you need the bra for and any half decent bra fitter will fit the bra for the dress. With a strapless bra the cups are usually fuller you don't want the "perfect bra" to show at the top.
Be sure to wriggle about and bend right over in it,:j I'm a 34 E or F, sometimes keeping them contained is half the battle!
    Hope this helps.

I spent half of yesterday looking for a good strapless bra in a 32E. I was surprised to find that for me the best of them were Wonderbra ones. I've never liked Wonderbra myself as they were always uncomfortable but this one was great with multiway straps. I had a good jump about in it and a shimmy to check that it did its job and everything stayed were it was supposed to!

If you can take a trip to Bravissimo with your dress and they will measure you up and try to find something suitable. If they don't have anything they'll advise you on what/where you could find something.
