I wanna cheap Sky Digibox (no package)

I am just about to move into my new house, where there is a Sky Dish attached to the wall.
Which is the cheapest way to get a digibox? I do not want to subscribe to any packages, as I am not into sports, and watch DVD movies as they come out, so I just want to access the free channels.
Any ideas how to do this the cheapest way - and how much that will be? If I bought a digibox from eBay, would it have to have a viewing card with it to get the free channels - and would it work anyway?
Cheers.

Technically you can't buy or sell the card as it belongs to Sky - so you need to acquire the box and a freesat-from-sky card (details of how to do that are at https://www.freesatfromsky.com) - alternatively you can buy a new unsubsidised box at somewhere like https://www.simplydigital.com, and they'll organise the card too - under £100 for a brand new warrantied box and card - or whatever you end up paying on eBay for the box plus £20 for the card. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
Cheapest way is secondhand. Prob £20/box bit more for the card. Via the classifieds on www.avforums.com for instance (where a trader feedback system operates).
