Nokia 2600 - Worth a customer view!

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5479856.htm

Notice the following

"Due to demand this product may be substituted with a Nokia of higher specification."

I'm not saying you will get a Nokia N70 but maybe worth getting one on customer view to see if you do indeed get a better model? ;)

I was just about to post that, but unless they have a stock of substitutes they do not sell anywhere (unlikely) then that seems the only logical choice!

Sometimes they will sustitute with items not in the Argos book i guess the suppliers send alternative stock.
  • Tried at Aldershot at lunch time today. They had 2600s in stock, so I left it.

I bought a cd player for my car in the last sale - it was old stock, but 'cos I'd reserved online and they'd run out of stock they substituted it for the new model out of the next catalogue. I paid £64 for a £139 radio.

Same thing here.. Reserved a barbie online ( I know its not really the same).. was only £3.29 in the sale. But they had sold out, so I was allowed to pick one out the catalogue of highter value- went for a £10.99 one and it only cost me £3.29 !! woo hoo
