  • I had one from Aldi last year and wasn't too impressed. It tasted rather bland though there was an awful lot of it for the money. This year I bought a free range one from Sainsburys when they were half price Still £20 so it had better be good. kSorry htat's no help with cheapest turkey.

    Aye, they certainly look good for the money! Ours is 5.8kg....they didnt have any 6.4kg ( the highest weight it goes to for £13. ) xxx

    I got a 4.2kg turkey from Lidl for £7.49, but they didn't have many left.

    That was why I posed the question.... Last year Turkeys were about 50p per LB. This year they are closer to £1 per LB. I wondered if they were coming down any more? I have heard some say there is a shortage, so may be that's it.
