loan with no employment

Hi, I'm looking for a cheap loan, (£3000), am retired due to ill health and a home owner. It seems that all lenders demand that you are in employment or other lenders ask for extremely high repayments; is there an answer?

  • Since you are not working I don't think you'll be able to get a cheap unsecured loan. And borrowing with the loan secured against your home is probably not be advisable because your home is at risk if you miss payments.

Have you thought about applying for a 0% credit card? Have a look at Martin's articles on this topic and also the Credit Cards discussion board.

    Hi

Try Egg or cahoot. Flexible: maybe 8% or thereabouts.

Don't try securing loan on your home - not good news.

Or try a 0% credit card. Egg, MBNA, marbles, all offering 0%.
