It's way too early to call this a hoax, it's only been a week and the phone jockey that you talked to may have been unaware of the offer.

But I don't think anyone was conned as I said anyone who signed up got an email from Ormande Jayne to invite us to try their new aftershave. So I think it's a little unfair to say Ormonde Jayne 'conned' us. Maybe the lady you were talking mightn't have been aware of the promotion

So why would someone from ormonde jayne tell that these freebies are hoaxes when you actually have to reg on there actual website for a news letter and samples.

Because she could be unaware that there is an offer. Half the time staff on the phones have little clue what the hell is going on.

Well I think that lady was misinformed tbh because I know loads of mse members were emailed to try out a new sample.

I received that email too, less than a week ago and as stated before you had to reply to receive the sample. It's possible that only a small batch of registered members were emailed.

There would be little purpose behind a hoax because it just generates bad press, especially for a well estabalished company such as this.
