Refund or Replacement from Woolworths?

Last week, I bought Fifa Street Xbox Game for use on the Xbox 360
I had checked the official GB Xbox website, that said the game was backwards compatible, as many others are, after downloading an update
Having done this, the game works but during matches it becomes jerky
It's possible it's a disc problem, but more likely that the software I downloaded does not work properly
Having checked though, I would have expected it to work
With a receipt, what can I expect? I would ideally like a refund because it's likely another copy would do the same, but am I right in thinking they should at least replace it
It doesn't function as it should do ultimately

Is it being played online?
My OH plays games online with his PS2 and during matches on FIFA he has complained that the screen 'jerks' about.
It goes worse when I am downloading something on the PC (lappy and PC are networked).
If you are playing it online, then it will have nothing to do with Woolies at all I'm afraid.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
If you can find a telephone number on the Xbox 360 website, call them and ask if there are known issues. If there are none, then Woolworths should be able to replace it. If there are known issues, then ask them (Microsoft?) how you should go about getting a refund. If Woolworths are feeling kind, they can offer one to you ... if not, well Woolworths themselves never claimed it would work on the 360.
If it comes to the worst, there's always ebay, although it seems to only be fetching about £10...0 -
Thanks for the replies, no I haven'e played it online, this is just being played on the console having downloaded the software automatically, so really it should work
It was very cheap in Woolworths, so I won't lose too much on ebay hopefully if I have to sell it there

Also, how long is a reasonable time for me to return it? I intend to go tomorrow, and bought it sometime in the week after Christmas (I'll find the exact date on the receipt when I can)0

Returning it this week is quite reasonable.
If you find a fault with anything within the first 6 months it is upto the retailer to prove that the fault was not present at the time of sale. So returning after a couple of weeks should not be an issue.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.
