    didn't work with me
i thought it had gone through until the end, then it said not valid.
    bit disappointing tho'

can i just ask what you mean? How did it look like it was going through then it didn't?
Sorry its just i tried the code as a tester on one of ebays immediate payment reqired auctions as it means you can pretend to buy the item and enter the code on the next page without actually completeing the purchase. I clicked on the buy it now then on the next page i scrolled down and entered in the code in the redeem coupon box it then showed the discount of £30 off in the brekaup of how much i have to pay so i presumed the code would work for me. So then al i did was remove code so i could use it on another day. How did the code not work for you?

When you log in to your paypal account to confirm the payment, its at this point it double checks:
    1. that the ebay email and paypal email match
    2. that an email address registered on the paypal account is eligible for the discount.

You're stopping one step before the "this code is not valid page"

I just got CUKHV4 emailed to me, valid for four pounds off till 15th December. Could try CUKHV8 or 9 and see what happens!

Xemmax this is the first time I've ever been sent a voucher too but I'd wondered why they have that box "Redeem Voucher"

I got this voucher as a site message after logging in (the bit where it gives a little announcement above the "go to your original destination" button). However, it did not work on a £3 item. Any idea if it was because the item had free shipping and perhaps you cannot do a zero amount Paypal purchase?

I also got the £2.50 voucher as an email, which did work on the item mentioned. Are the emailed vouchers more... accurate/valid/usable than the site message vouchers? Or do you need to have at least 1p (after the voucher is taken off) to put through a Paypal purchase?
