I recon you would get better value from else ware.
Sainsbury's currently have a Sony flat widescreen instore for under £250, that leaves you £75 to spend on a good vcr/dvd combi.0 -
Just discovered that if you go in through the 'front door' of the site, there's a code to give you 20% off sale prices - which would mean that the package would come down to £260. Now that is a bargain! :beer:I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0

£260 is still not cheap.
You should be able to buy a bush/alba/beko non-flatscreen 28" ws for under £125. I remember Makro doing them for £99 + vat not long ago.
For £260, you should be able to get:
TV = £125
Stand = £30
VCR = £50
DVD = £20
Freeview = £30
Total = £2550 -
